Abstract: First paragraph: The Green party recently reported a surge in membership, with 2000 new members in 24 hours. Now, the Scottish, English and Welsh, and Northern Irish Greens have accumulated almost 44,000 members between them. This makes them the fourth largest party in the UK behind Labour, the Conservatives and the SNP.  Access this article on The Conversation website: https://theconversation.com/green-surge-will-be-tested-as-grassroots-are-exposed-to-media-spotlight-36442
