My critique is followed by wider reflections on contemporary Scots from writers including Jenni Fagan, Don Paterson, Alison Miller, Jenny Lindsay, Harry Giles and Kirsten Norrie, concluding with a few backward glances to Hugh MacDiarmid and Tom Leonard. en_UK
