dc.description.abstract | This chapter focuses on food practices; examining the role food plays in children’s experiences of relationship building within residential care. In particular it considers the use of food as a medium through which relationships between care workers and children can be conveyed, contested and maintained. To this extent we explore the building, entering, testing and sustaining of relationships within three residential care homes in Scotland. | en_UK |
