| Abstract: | First paragraph: EL CONCEPTO DE HIBRIDEZ cultural se maneja habitualmente en el contexto del poscolonialismo y, por ende, se asocia con frecuencia a tensiones y a lo que ha venido a definirse como violencia etnocéntrica. Así aparece representado en diversos estudios de teoría de la comunicación, traductología, sociología, antropología y otras disciplinas relacionadas con el tema. En el ámbito hispano, pasó al primer plano de la actualidad académica gracias al libro de García Canclini Culturas híbridas. Múltiples estudiosos subscriben la acepción «Canclinista» del concepto, según la cual, en palabras de Larsen, «La hibridez funciona, como principio ético o simplemente sólo en relación negativa a un principio de o [sic] homogeneidad.» |
