Abstract: | First paragraph: More than half of the sites covered by the Natura 2000 framework are forests [1]. It is therefore extremely important that we have a well-developed understanding of the impact of Natura 2000 policy and management on forest biodiversity and ecosystem services. It is equally important that the impact of Natura 2000 on forest management is well understood. |
